Oregon Wineries
Welcome to our Oregon Wineries Page, Oregon has established an international reputation for its production of wine. Oregon has several different growing regions within the state's borders which are well-suited to the cultivation of grapes; additional regions straddle the border between Oregon, Washington and Idaho. Oregon Wineries date back to pioneer times in the 1840s, with real commercial production beginning to take hold in the 1960s. With over 300 wineries, a huge tourism industry has developed around wine tasting. Oregon is rank fourth in US wine production The top three wine states are California, New York, Washington respectively, and Texas being fifth.
