North Dakota Wineries

North Dakota was the last state in the United States since Prohibition to license a commercial winery. The first bonded commercial winery in North Dakota, Pointe of View Winery, was established on April 17, 2002.

Casselton area

Casselton had its origin in 1873 when the Northern Pacific Railway planted cottonwood and willow trees in the area to serve as windbreaks along their right-of-way. A school was organized in 1876 and the town was incorporated as a village in 1880.

Minot area

Minot is the fourth largest city in North Dakota. also known as the "Magic City", is a precious jewel of the Dakotas that proudly holds two scepters of the US Air Force’s prowess wings: The 5th Bomb Wing and The 91st Space Wing. Minot Air Force Base is located 12 miles north of Minot.
