Arkansas Wineries list
Welcome to our Arkansas Wineries page, Back in 1880, Arkansas Wineries had two pioneers they were Jacob Post, who came to America in 1872, and Johann Wiederkehr, who immigrated to Altus from Switzerland in 1880. Area conditions reminded them so much of the fine wine-making regions of Germany and Switzerland that they each established vineyards, Hence the beginning of a wine industry was born in Arkansas. Most wineries offer tastings daily, they sell there brands along with wine gifts. Word of mouth advertising is best so to help market the wines the winery may even sponsor several wine clubs.
